An image file can be created as a raster image and added into the sdTextureManager. The raster image(sdTextureItem) can later be assigned to the sdImage object.

         sdTextureItem ti = fDrawCtrl1.Document.TextureMng.Add("droidPhoto.png");

         // Create a sdImage object with the associated textureItem ti.
